Sink Opts Out of Governor’s Race

Former Chief Financial Officer Alex Sink has announced she will not run for Governor  against incumbent Republican Rick Scott in 2014.

Sink told the Associated Press, she wants to spend more time running her foundation, Florida Next, which seeks to help young entrepreneurs grow their startup companies.

With Sink out of the race, the coast is clear for Crist to run. Sources close to Crist tell me, he will announce later this year.
