Florida Democrats Buckle Under Lackluster Leadership

Florida Democratic Chair, Allison Tant, has found herself on the losing end of Florida politics, again.

After starting a public war with state Rep. Darryl Rouson, D-St. Petersburg, over his leadership of state House campaigns, Tant was named a loser in Florida politics this week.

Tant’s losing streak has even caused Republican Party of Florida Chairman, Lenny Curry to take notice. In a statement released by RPOF, Chairman Curry said, “Allison Tant’s actions this past week not only prove that Florida Democrats have no positive agenda to share with Floridians; it also proves that she has no positive agenda to share with her own party.”

The lack of direction, and agenda under Tant’s leadership has caused strategists to question whether she is doing more harm than good for her party. As a result, Republicans have wasted no time in capitalizing and plotting for 2014 while their counterparts work to salvage what’s left of the Florida Democratic Party.
