Jeb Bush Shows Promise in 2016

Voters have yet to cast their ballot in 2014, but pollsters and Republicans already have 2016 on their mind. In a Quinnipiac Poll released on Friday, former Florida Governor, Jeb Bush widens his lead by 8 points among GOP presidential hopefuls.

Senator Marco Rubio, who this time last year, was considered a strong contender in 2016 has slipped into second place behind Bush, who leads with 25 percent. New Jersey Governor, Chris Christie has fallen into 4th place behind Senator Paul Ryan.

Peter Brown, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Polling Institute points out, “among Florida favorite sons, former Gov. Jeb Bush runs stronger than does Sen. Marco Rubio…”

Bush shows promise as a 2016 presidential hopeful and only time will tell if he is going to run, but one thing’s for sure, the upcoming presidential race will be anything but boring.
