Alex Sink May Have Sunk Herself
Things you can”t take back:
- The hand knitted sweater your Aunt Petunia made for you last Christmas.
- The perm your mom gave you when you were 6 because it was the “in” thing.
- Telling people the reason you support a pathway to citizenship for undocumented workers because “many employers rely on immigrants to work in hotel and landscape jobs.“
Alex Sink was caught on camera saying the above mentioned quote, and as a result is now drowning in the polls.
Sink”s comment at Tuesday”s debate has raised eyebrows among voters, and the Republican Party of Florida has lashed out calling Sink a racist.
“Alex Sink”s comments are as shocking as they are narrow-minded. Floridians are people who want to work hard to make their dreams come true, and in our state no dream is out of reach. For Alex Sink to make such an implication about those who immigrate to Florida is insulting,” said Florida GOP Chairman Lenny Curry.
To add insult to online casino injury a new poll released shows GOP candidate David Jolly leading Democrat Alex Sink 44 to 42 percent — within the margin of error. The poll was conducted on Feb. 17-18 by Fabrizio, Lee and Associates for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. 400 likely special election voters were surveyed. The margin of error is plus or minus 4.9 percentage points.
With 12 days left until the special election there is only so much damage control Sink can do to woo voters. I am not a betting girl, but if I was I”d double down on David Jolly to keep Pinellas county red and bring home a GOP victory on March 11th.
