Internal Poll: Scott closing in on Crist
Governor Rick Scott is closing the gap and catching up to Charlie Crist in the polls.
A statewide survey conducted last month by Governor Scott’s pollster, Tony Fabrizio shows Governor Scott trailing Charlie Crist, 45-49 among likely voters. The data was obtained by Politico, and surveyed 1,000 likely voters registered in Florida. The poll shows Governor Scott trailing by 4 points with a 3.1% margin of error. This is a smaller gap compared to a recent poll conducted by Quinnipiac University; showing Scott down by 7.
As the days wane on, Governor Scott will close the gap by showing Floridians why it’s working under his leadership. At the same time Charlie Crist will work tirelessly to woo voters by proving he is in fact a Democrat and not a political chameleon who uses party lines for political gain.
