LeMieux Center for Public Policy at Palm Beach Atlantic University, Palm Beach County Young Republicans Partner with WPEC-CBS to Host United States Senate Candidate Debate

WEST PALM BEACH, FLA. – The LeMieux Center for Public Policy at Palm Beach Atlantic University in conjunction with the Palm Beach County Young Republicans will co-host a debate among the Republican Senatorial candidates on the evening of Tuesday, August 23. The debate will be held at the Rubin Arena located within the Greene Complex for Sports and Recreation, 1100 South Dixie Highway, on the campus of Palm Beach Atlantic University. WPEC-CBS 12 along with broadcasters around the state will televise the debate.  

In announcing the debate, founder of the LeMieux Center for Public Policy Senator George LeMieux stated:  “We are excited to be hosting the Republican primary Senate debate with the Palm Beach County Young Republicans at Palm Beach Atlantic University. The importance of this debate is to give Floridians an opportunity to get to know the candidates and where they stand on the issues, and what better place than right here at Palm Beach Atlantic University, where leadership and service are the core of its mission.”
